Nicoleta Carpineanu
UK

Nicoleta is a UK-based, Romanian artist, producer and environmental activist with in-depth experience in Research & Development of projects, producer of documentary films including Wild Carpathia and international DJ/Music Producer under the name Nico de Transilvania. Nico spent her childhood in the forests of Romania, learning how to live in harmony with the environment.

Cosmina Paul
Romania

Cosmina has a BA in Sociology, a MA in Jewish Studies, and a PhD in Oral History. For the past ten years, she has worked in various research setting, such as Yale University as a research Assistance Fellow, Babes Bolyai University, also for the Department of Innovation within the Ministry of Education (UEFISCDI). Cosmina started her present position in 2018 as senior researcher for Ana Aslan International Foundation, Bucharest. Her research interests range from understanding technology adoption and innovation in healthcare to how do technologies affect the way we care?

Cosmina also has ten years of volunteering experience for everyone's right to belong to a community.

Fran Southgate
UK

Fran is a passionate advocate for renewing our connection with our natural environment. She is an experienced conservation advisor, landscape ecologist, nature restorer and rewilder, working for a range of organisations including the Wildlife Trusts and Knepp rewilding project. Fran feels the urgency of climate change requires new approaches to community empowerment.

Radu Padurean
Romania

Radu has a degree in Physics and one in Sociology. He has established several businesses in various fields including construction, refrigerated storage units and farming. Radu has gained extensive experience dealing with the Romanian administration authorities. His current role is as expert appraiser of movable and immovable property with the National Association of Authorized Romanian Valuers.

Over time, he has worked with several NGOs as well as managing volunteers for various events and enviromental initiatives. Radu is passionate about the environment and believes he can help FWF achieve great things.

Rex Brangwyn
UK

For the last 20 years Rex has been helping groups, teams and organisations develop humanitarian and ecocentric projects in Europe. He holds an MSc in People and Organisation Development. He is also qualified to Masters level as an Osteopath and Traumatologist. This knowledge base of grounded healing informs his work with vital, agile and healing based organisations.

Rumi Fox
UK

Rumi is our youngest Board member. He found his passion for business 5 years ago when he started his first enterprise, a cake ordering service. He went on to study Economics and Business Studies at A-Level and will be going to study Business and Entrepreneurship at Manchester University in September 2023. He is currently travelling whilst on a gap year with the aim to explore and experience new cultures.
