Following on from the success of Interbeing in Romania, Nico is collaborating with renowned Bulgarian musician and composer Ivan Shopov and the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) to produce a new multi-media body of work.
On a sunny November morning, in celebration of National Tree Week, a group of 60 people gathered on Wilderlands Farm near Fletching, in Sussex, with one main goal in mind – to plant lots of trees.

Planting trees is not easy at the best of times – but this spring in Romania the weather proved more challenging than usual with heavy snowfall in the mountains at the beginning of April. We are delighted that we were able to plant a further 20,000 trees this spring.

It was sunshine and smiles all round as we celebrated Forests Without Frontiers’ fourth birthday in May with a fundraiser hosted by devilishly funny comedian and FWF ambassador Jen Brister.
Forests Without Frontiers believes in the power of art to capture the magic of the natural world and we’re lucky to be supported by a network of artists whose work does just that.
We are working in this area to protect existing ancient forest, to restore degraded land and to rebuild essential wildlife corridors. This additional work brings the total of trees we’ve planted in the Carpathian Mountains to a massive 140,000 since Forests Without Frontiers (FWF) began!
From adding an optional ‘1 percent for the environment’ to client invoices, to donating trees per kitchen sold or calculating and ‘balancing’ carbon emissions, there are many ways businesses can get involved and support Forests Without Frontiers.
